About Rachael, our Speech Pathologist
Rachael has been practising as a Speech Pathologist since 1997, across a wide range of clinical settings and client groups, in both Australia and the UK, including community health, kindergartens, childcare centres, schools, hospitals and nursing homes. In 2006, Rachael further fuelled her special interest for training others in how to support children with speech, language and communication needs by becoming a lecturer to Speech and Language Therapy students at a UK university.
Rachael is passionate about providing Speech Pathology services that really work, and uses evidence-based research and extensive professional experience to tailor assessment and intervention to target the underlying issues impacting on a child’s speech, language and communication needs. She believes that communication occurs in the real world, where all communication partners in the child’s life can help maximise the child’s communication potential. She has found that early intervention is the key to gaining the best long term outcomes.
Rachael is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia, and has a current Working With Children Check. She is a Registered Medicare Provider.
